Who We Are

The Alliance for Greater Good has six board members, all of whom volunteer their time, expertise, and passion to achieve the mission of the Alliance. They are all retired and bring years of experience and a broad skill set to the organization.

Julie Johnson

President & Cofounder

Julie co-founded the Alliance after retiring from Liberty Mutual, where she led and developed insurance operations. Julie served two years on the board of Seacoast Newcomers Club as their Web Manager.  She enjoys traveling, bicycling, hiking, walking, snowshoeing-- all things outdoors.  Julie and her husband love learning about local history and support several history-related museums and non-profit organizations.

Vice President & Cofounder

Lisa Vivinetto

Lisa brings years of experience in corporate training, sales, and marketing to the Alliance. She recently sold the small software company she co-founded and enjoys applying the knowledge she gained in the for-profit world to the Alliance. She is lucky to live in both Portsmouth and Naples, FL with her husband and puppy.

Joanne Wolfe

Treasurer & Cofounder

Joanne’s career background was in developing, justifying, and executing budgets in various federal government agencies. She has also served in numerous volunteer capacities over the years, often as treasurer or in other organizational roles. She is excited to have retired with her husband to Portsmouth where both daughters and her granddaughter live and is especially grateful to be able to give back to the local community through the Alliance.

Bonnie Blaisdell

Secretary

Bonnie had a 35-year career in elementary and special education in the southern NH area. She was instrumental in creating an award-winning pen pal exchange between elders and school children. Upon retirement, Bonnie’s family moved to Portsmouth where she became involved in the Seacoast Newcomers Club volunteering on their board as co-chair of Community Service.

Her lifelong passion has involved fostering connections between individuals and encouraging active participation in the local community. Bonnie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, sailing, kayaking, and skiing.

Diane Alie

Director

A former attorney, Diane most recently worked as the executive director of a MA nonprofit organization. This opportunity provided her with an appreciation for the importance of building community ties through common interests and creative outreach. New to the Seacoast, Diane is grateful to now live close to family and enjoy with friends the many outdoor activities this beautiful area has to offer.

Kathryn Garcia

Director & Cofounder

Kathryn is retired from career work in parks and recreation management. Over the course of this work, she served in leadership roles at federal, state, and municipal agencies. She also worked with non-profit arts organizations on membership, fundraising and event planning. A highlight of this work was fostering successful public/private partnerships. She currently enjoys teaching Yoga, outdoor activities, and travel with family and friends.
