Share the Joy

November 16 through December 13

Holiday Card Writing Campaign
Share the Joy.png

The Alliance is once again inviting community members to write personalized holiday cards to their elderly neighbors that live in assisted care facilities.  Volunteers, which we fondly call card-writing elves, are assigned eight to thirteen residents along with a fun fact about each resident.  We ask our elves to provide the holiday cards and to write the heartfelt messages, and we will take care of the rest.

The last day to sign up is December 6.  Cards will be due back to us by December 13.  We will sort and deliver the cards to the facilities.

Detailed instructions and assignments will be emailed to volunteers within one to two days of submitting the Elf Duty Sign Up form.   If you do not receive your assignment by email, please check your spam / junk folder.

Help us spread joy, hope, and love this holiday season and show our elderly neighbors how much others care about them.

If you have questions, email us at alliance.greatergood@gmail.com.
