We believe in the power of kindness to help neighbors in need.   Since our founding, we have hosted several community events that have benefited school children, food-insecure families, assisted living and long-term care residents, restaurant workers, women leaving shelters & recovery centers, neighbors needing financial assistance, and families & individuals needing mental health services.  We are grateful for each act of generosity shown by the community.  Know that your contributions have brought comfort and joy to others.

 

As Giving Tuesday approaches, we are reaching out again for your support.  Our goal is to raise $3,500 to support our September 2024 Lantern Festival.  Yes, due to the amazing success of our 2023 Lantern Festival, we have decided to host another Lantern Festival in 2024.  In keeping with our mission and goals, we will select a new beneficiary for the 2024 Lantern Festival.  Our board of directors is currently evaluating community needs and local non-profit organizations, and we hope to announce the 2024 Lantern Festival beneficiary soon. 

 

Giving Tuesday donations will help cover Lantern Festival event-related expenses, such as the costs of the lanterns, lantern-decorating materials, face painting supplies, etc.  Donations of any amount are welcomed.  Alternatively, an unrestricted donation helps support the Alliance for Greater Good and would be used where it is most needed.
