This Mother’s Day the Alliance offered hope and encouragement to new moms in recovery from substance use disorder at Hope on Haven Hill (HHH).

Residential treatment at Hope on Haven Hill provides a nurturing and therapeutic home environment for expecting or new moms and their children, supporting their recovery journey with treatment, counseling, and wellness programming.

Community support is an important factor in recovery – helping to remove the stigma of substance use disorder and reassuring these resilient moms that they are not alone and there is always hope.
That’s a call to action for the Alliance community! In response, we created our Hope and Healing event.

Our caring community wrote heartfelt messages of encouragement and together contributed $1800 to purchase wish list items for Mother’s Day baskets and essential supplies!
Warmhearted volunteers created beautiful gift baskets overflowing with self-care items to brighten Mother’s Day for these determined new moms who are working hard to create a healthy and promising future for themselves and their children.
“That is incredible! Thank you for helping to make our amazing moms’ Mother's Day so special."🙂 - Natalie Norton, CRSW, Volunteer Coordinator, Hope on Haven Hill.
Special thanks to White Heron Tea for their kind and thoughtful donation of nourishing herbal teas and cookies!
We know that hope, community and self-care lead to better recovery outcomes. Your participation in Hope and Healing helps these new moms build the confidence and strength they need to envision a brighter future for themselves and their children.
As one participant wrote, “There is no greater gift you can give your newborn child than a healthy mom.”
Thinking of volunteering with Hope on Haven Hill? Baby cuddlers always welcome!

What a wonderful gift for a new mom - thoughtfulness at a time very much needed. Sorry I missed it!
