We are so grateful to our kind and generous donors who support our mission to address local community needs.
In the Seacoast area, individuals and families are stretched to their limit due to rising prices and cuts in food assistance programs. The need for community support has skyrocketed.
This fall we funded two local organizations providing nourishing food to community members dealing with food insecurity.
We were proud to donate $5,000 to Gather, the regional leader in addressing hunger on the Seacoast. Gather’s extraordinary new Community Food Center is revolutionizing the efficiency of food production and distribution. In exciting news, Tania Marino, Director of Programs at Gather, recently launched an innovative, free culinary workforce training program for adults 18+ to build real skills that lead to careers in the food service industry.

We were also delighted to donate $500 to Seacoast Community Lunch and were invited to a “behind the scenes” tour of the action! Seacoast Community Lunch offers a free, nutritious lunch once a week to anyone who needs one, and is powered by the kindness and commitment of a completely volunteer staff.
Lastly, we extend our gratitude to Earle Chase, Prescott Park Head Gardener, for inviting us to harvest late season annuals to create beautiful arrangements for residents of Wentworth Senior Living in Portsmouth. Thanks to Earle, our team of willing volunteers, and the power of flowers, we brightened the day for local seniors.
